It is a food preparation obtained from the union of whole wheat flour and water. This preparation is molded to form granules (similar to millet) and finally dried. The cous cous originates in the Maghreb region (Tunisia, Morocco, Algeria).
Great in combination with vegetables and meat stews. For best cooking we recommend using the Keskes (available in department stores or eastern stores). The Keskes is a perforated bowl suitable for steam cous cous cooking.
